These decisions include things like day care, extracurricular activities, medical services, religious instruction and driving.<br /><br />Opponents of the measure said it would just give said parents more things to fight about.<br /><br />So now, a noncustodial parent not only has no say about where a child goes to school, who takes care of the child, and so forth, the parent doesn't even have a right to know these things.<br /><br />Apparently the thought is that you can't fight about something you don't know about. It seems she failed to get custody back, let alone visitation.  Showing up for court four hours later probably didn't help.<br /><br />Big problems for Iowa's Floyd County Attorney Jesse Marzen - he's been sued by a woman who claims that Marzen had sex with her while representing her in a child custody dispute "in exchange for his legal services."  Marzen told the <a href="http://www.wcfcourier.com/articles/2008/01/14/news/breaking_news/doc478c14ffdac32195921892.txt" rel="nofollow">WFCCourier</a>:  "I find it odd that I'm hearing it from a newspaper for the first time."<br /><br />What a sad mess.  In Florida, a three-year-old's mother has been sentenced to prison for fifteen years over what <a href="http://www.theledger.com/article/20080112/NEWS/801120429/1004" rel="nofollow">TheLedger.com</a> calls "her part in the death of her ex-boyfriend," who was the father.  So now, the mother's parents have the boy, but the the maternal grandmother wants custody of him.  If she doesn't get custody the maternal grandmother says the child "will never know the truth about his father.]]></content:encoded></item></channel>
