Britney, Child Custody and Sex for Legal Services

Child custody news about the famous and the reckless.
Of course, Britney Spears' troubles dominate the
news. It seems she failed to get custody back, let
alone visitation. Showing up for court four hours
later probably didn't help.
Big problems for Iowa's Floyd County Attorney Jesse Marzen - he's been sued by a woman who claims that Marzen had sex with her while representing her in a child custody dispute "in exchange for his legal services." Marzen told the WFCCourier: "I find it odd that I'm hearing it from a newspaper for the first time."
What a sad mess. In Florida, a three-year-old's mother has been sentenced to prison for fifteen years over what TheLedger.com calls "her part in the death of her ex-boyfriend," who was the father. So now, the mother's parents have the boy, but the the maternal grandmother wants custody of him. If she doesn't get custody the maternal grandmother says the child "will never know the truth about his father.
